PETALING JAYA: China’s Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing and his officials visited Star Media Group (SMG) at its headquarters in Menara Star here.
Counsellor Zheng Xin, chief of press and first secretary Tang Tang and attache Fang Jingyan accompanied him.
They were given a Star Gallery tour and briefed about the media group’s history and operation.

The group also visited the Content Department, where they were briefed on the news-gathering and reporting processes for SMG’s print and online platforms.
SMG chief executive officer Alex Yeow, chief content officer Esther Ng and corporate communication and social impact manager Selina Ng accompanied the visitors.
